About Me

I graduated from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a BA in Acting in 2001. After that, many years were spent performing in shows such as Taggart, CBeebies show Tikkabbila, BBC radio comedy sketch shows, as well as touring theatre shows around Scotland and Continuity Announcing at STV. I even managed to squeeze in the odd voiceover here and there…

When my kids were born, touring around Scotland and performing in pantos every Christmas lost its sparkle. I decided to focus my efforts on home recording voiceovers, so got myself some acoustic tiles and a cheap mic and off I went to the cupboard under the stairs.

Over the years I’ve updated my recording equipment and have never looked back. I won a voiceover competition which took me to LA for an Awards Ceremony. I was also nominated for 2 voiceover awards and won 1 of them.

Meanwhile back at STV where I’d been the announcer for over a decade by now, I landed a great new role. I’m still announcing but I’m now also the Continuity Producer, heading up a team of voices.

Hundreds of voiceovers later, here I am; and loving every minute.
